Rocks!

I love having a son. It's been a learning process the entire way, but I love having a son. I say I'm learning because I grew up in a small family and only had a sister, so little boys habits are new to me. I've really only just recently fully accepted the amount of dirt that will be involved in my son's life! That being said, today my son discovered rocks. He's been to the beach with us and I'm sure he's touched rocks before, but today he gave them his FULL attention. We were out walking around our block and Justin was checking everything out along the way. He came to some landscaping that used smooth stones as a filler and he just had to have one! Of course, the entire time he's calling it a "ball" but hey, who am I to correct him? It was round and smooth like a ball so he's really not that far off. I didn't have my camera with me, but I had my phone, so I took a picture (thus why it's not the best quality). He picked up two rocks and walked almost all the way home with them! I thought we might end up with "pet rocks" but he released them to the wild before getting to our porch.
