Visiting Sun Valley

Justin and I recently went to visit Mimi and Papa in Sun Valley for a week. Unfortunately, the pollen count was a bit high and Idaho tends to be very dry. So Justin and I spent a majority of the week with stuffy and crusty noses. That being said, he really did seem to have a pretty good time.

My son LOVES shoes. Here he is encouraging us to go on a hike!!

Our trip happened to overlap Aunt Cara and cousin Anna's trip by a day, so we got to spend some time with them. Justin enjoyed playing with Anna--he just LOVES kids his age and size. Anna took a turn in the bouncer while we were there and Justin sat with her--coached her through it.

"See Anna, you play with these things here..."

Anna taking a little break on the grass. She enjoyed playing peak-a-boo with her blanket!

"Hi Papa. Whatcha doin'? Can I help?"

Sun Valley is having one of its greenest summers ever! Mimi took us on a great hike to see all the wildflowers in bloom. Justin did amazingly well in his new back carrier. He actually ended the hike asleep on my back!

And later in the week, we all decided to go for a bike ride. I have to say that I'm glad that Papa is training for a bike trip and was more then willing to handle the baby trailer. I really didn't want to try to pull the added weight. It's been a while since I rode a bike! I was try to manage all the hills and what not... a trailer would have been a bit much. (Although I heard my sister-in-law did it with Anna and did pretty well!)

Papa, don't go too fast, ok?
