Justin and I hosted our first play date and it went really well! By the end, we had a total of 6 other moms and babies. I was glad to end up with so many in attendance. We even had a very new mom bring her 6 week old baby. I remember being at that stage and just feeling I needed some other "moms" around me to help me understand that what I was going through was OK.

We had two girls and four boys, all of which got along really well. Everyone shared very nicely and were just happy to have playmates. It's so cute to watch babies interact with their own little language. What we've learned about Justin is that he's a very social baby. He LOVES other babies and kids. When he sees kids running around, he gets SO excited--he squeals! Sometimes I think it's because he can see them moving around and wants to be able to do it as well, but other times he just wants their attention. In fact, there's a little girl in our playgroup, Téa, who Justin just adores. I think he has a little crush because every time he sees her, he just giggles and smiles.
