Justin's Christmas Program

Justin's preschool puts on an annual Christmas program in early December.  I was afraid that timing of the show (12/10) meant I wouldn't get to see it since I was due 12/13.  But the baby held off, so we were all able to go and see Justin perform!  And as luck would have it, Mimi and Papa were visiting so they were able to attend as well!

Since we are new to the school this year, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect except what other moms or teachers had mentioned.  There are several classes of children that each perform a holiday song in "costume."  The program tied each song together with a creative story--"T'was Two Weeks Before Christmas."  The oldest children acted as our storytellers and WOW!  They were amazing!  Each child - 4 yrs old - memorized a paragraph (3-4 lines) to introduce each class and song.   The entire show was really well organized and so much fun to watch!  Justin's class dressed as elves and sang "We are Santa's Elves."  Justin knew the words--he'd been practicing for quite some time--but when the performance actually happened, he really just did the dancing.  But still, so cute!!  OH!  And as you can see, "costumes" were adorable PJ sets that tied in the song.

Helpful elves bringing on the "props" for their song.

This was before they started singing and right as Justin found me in the crowd!

High fives for Papa!

Cheese!

A little hug from my elf!
