Justin's First Day of Preschool!

Since Justin turned 3, we'd been hoping to hear back from one of the local preschools so he could join a part-time class.  The Children's Growing Center (CGC) was at the top of our list but was full--and we'd been on the waiting list for almost a year.  Unfortunately age and timing make all the difference!  Since I am a stay-at-home mom, it's not ABSOLUTELY necessary that Justin start in September.  But part of my push and hope to get him in was so he didn't feel like we were sending him off to school later on BECAUSE the baby was born.  Hoping that he would have a spot in September gave us time to get him accustomed to school and not feel like it was all because of baby.

But our luck came through!  In August, I got a call from CGC and they happened to have a MWF spot open up for Justin's age group due to a family moving out of state!  YES!  So his first day was set for the week after Labor Day, Sept 7.  He has several friends that already attend school, so we'd been talking to him a lot about what it meant to go.  He was actually quite excited!
Off to school!  (Do you like our choice of attire??)

In class with his lunch.
