J3 + 1

Just after Easter this year, we found out that we are expecting a baby, due in Dec! We're very excited about the addition and have been talking to Justin about it quite a bit. As the months started passing and my belly started to grow, I started to tell Justin that he had a baby brother or sister coming. Luckily we've had a few friends that have recently added to their families and he has a point of reference.

Since we didn't find out the gender with Justin, we decided to find out what we were having this time around. Prior to the appointment, I asked Justin what he thought we were having--boy or girl. And without hesitation he said "a girl". Jon-Paul thinks I've been prompting him and telling him what to say, but honestly, there was no help from mom on that answer! I'm at the halfway point right now and feeling good. We went in to get the ultrasound that would tell us what we are having and it's a...

So it looks like we're going to have one of each in our family come Christmas time. Names are still being discussed and while it's been fun having the "J3" nickname, we're not sure if we'll stick to that trend for this baby. We shall see... several months left to decide!
