Halloween was a success this year with Justin! He quickly learned how trick-or-treating works. He was happy to knock on doors or ring doorbells (his preferred method), then patiently wait for someone to answer, and quickly say "trick-or-treating!" Yes, since we had been telling Justin that we would be going trick-or-treating for Halloween, he figured that was the proper phrase. It was quite sweet. Not to sound biased as his mom, but he quickly figured out that if he said "trick-or-treating" more than once at the same house, sometimes they'd give him another piece of candy. Smart boy!
Anyway, we've kept it within reason, but he asks for chocolate every second he thinks he can get some. And has even added a very sweet "Puhleese" with it, hoping to sweeten us up! It works about half the time.
And I just wanted to throw this one in. Friends of ours took this and I thought it was too cute not to share!
