Baby Loves Disco

Recently I took Justin to "Baby Loves Disco"--a program that uses local night clubs to create an afternoon dance party for babies, toddlers and young kids. I'd heard a lot about it from the moms in my playgroup, so I thought it was time to see what all the fuss was about!

Justin seemed to like the event right from the get go! We walked in and he wanted to check EVERYTHING out. It's an interesting set-up. They had play tents with books and toys in one part of the club, a face-painter and balloon artist in another and a person giving shoulder massages in a side room for the parents that were able to divide and conquer! In the back in the main dance area was where the disco ball was spinning with fun disco music.

Justin wasn't quite sure what to make of all the lights at first...

Discovering the disco ball...

All warmed up and playing with the hula hoops and noise makers.

Unfortunately the flash on my camera makes the images brighter than it was at the event. You can't quite see the very cool lighting effects that were there. So I took a pic without the flash--it's a little fuzzy, but you get a better idea of what it was like!
