Little Quirks

Justin is almost 15 months. He is all over the place! Curious about everything, climbing on things, trying things that "mama" does, investigating all the "grown-up" things and on and on. I've taken a few pictures of his new little quirks. He really likes to carry around his diaper bag--it makes him feel like he's helping.

I had to shorten the strap so it wouldn't drag too much.

He looks like such a grown up to me!

He's also started wanting the grown up blankets instead of his own blanket. He gets up in the morning, walks over the couch, pulls down the blanket and cuddles with it. It's adorable!!

And this new little quirk is probably not the greatest, but it's cute to watch. Justin likes to go UP the slides instead of down. While we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa recently, he figured out how to climb up the kiddie slide they have (all of 2 feet long). So now he believes he should be able to climb up the slightly bigger kiddie slide at our playground. As you can see... he wasn't too successful!

I can do it!

Maybe not. But it was fun trying!

And finally, he really enjoys helping in the kitchen. Actually, he really enjoys playing in the refrigerator. I try to only leave harmless things in the lowest shelf so he can help himself and not make a mess. His favorite are bottles of any sort. As you can see he understands how they are supposed to work, luckily he hasn't figured out how to open them... yet!

Hmm... what's in here?

Yum!
